(Windows) Allow updates directly from the app#807

Windows user here. I understand the importance of keeping your software up-to-date. But I think it comes off as a bit hostile to not be able to access any of my work before updating - while also needing to go directly to the site to download the latest version.
At the very least could - is it possible add a link to download the latest? Ideally, I’d love a dismmissable modal that shows the latest changes everytime I open the app - that encourages me to download the latest version - and updates the version in app. I’d settle for a link in the dismissable modal.

We totally agree. These forced upgrade happen very rarely, and only on very outdated clients (more than 1 year old). We only do this if there’s no way to avoid it. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Usually updates are optional and download directly.
