You can color specific characters within the Plot Board and assign them to a scene. You can assign colors to subplots or storylines and assign those to story beats within the Plot Board. But it would be FANTASTIC if you could also designate specific character arcs with a color within the Plot Board… perhaps giving a color to the beat along the bottom, or right edge of the card (the left edge is the subplot color). This would be very helpful for a visual cue to ensure character arcs are accounted for in the planning process.
My only workaround for this is to create a new character called JOE CHAR BEAT and assign it a specific color… the dot shows up on the card, but now when I type in the script I have to choose between JOE and JOE CHAR BEAT, which also makes reporting an issue. A simple color fix / assignment would be great.
